~ Tablescape Tuesday - Santa Style ~

Welcome to the sixteenth week of Tablescape Tuesday hosted by Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch. Please stop by her post, she has the most beautiful Tablescapes that I have ever seen.

I was wondering what I would use for my tablescape, and I thought of using something that I really love and I thought why not these Santa's, I love them. I found them some years ago while doing a few after Christmas sales. They look sort of Vintage to me, I think I found them at Marshall's.

I used my cake plate as a stand, and placed them upon it. Then used my cloche to cover them and added a little greenery at the base.

Now on with my trusty paper and plastic. I was in Marshall's Saturday night and found the printed plates and napkins, I thought they were beautiful.

I looked around the house for other things to use, and chose the sleighs, and two old brass deer that I had. I used red place mats that I found the other day at the Dollar Tree. They only had four and I went to two other stores looking for two more but I had no luck. Put it all together and I think it turned out pretty good.

Very festive in color

The sleighs I found at Big Lots years ago. I bet you all are saying, " All that woman talks about is Big Lots". Ladies I have found a lot of goodies there (IN THE PAST). There's still a lot more around my house from there that I haven't shared yet.

I really hope you enjoyed my frugal little tablescape as much as I did putting it together, I've learn that you can just about use anything from around the house to set a beautiful table and what's best is, cheap! cheap! cheap! I got too tickled thinking about going around from place to place shopping for paper plates like I was shopping for fine China. LOL!!!! My next tablescape will be pictured in my Dining room along with a few Christmas decorations. Deb

Oh I better get shopping for plates! I'm taking a cue from you & using paper for our Christmas dinner. ;o) I already told hubby about your tables & how beautiful they look using paper plates & he made me promise. LOL

Christmas is particularly hectic at my house as my birthday is the 19th, my daughter's is the 26th "Egads!" & both my son's & my siter's is the 31st. So this will greatly ease my to-do list.

What a wonderful, wonderful idea with the cloche as a centerpiece. I use a lot of plastic and paper around here, and I love how you created your placesetting. Each item you added gave it another layer of joy.

I really like your sleigh filled with gorgeous goodies. I appreciate that you put this together with what you had, shows imagination. And like another commenter said, this is within my price range. My vote is a good tablescape.

Deb - Your tablscape is great. It's just what I need with so many grandchildren. I love the Dollar Tree! Also, I have to get a cloche. It seems like that is the "in" thing now. Best of all - I received the Cottage Package in the mail today. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have just the place to put it after the holidays when my Santas are put away.
Hugs,
Sweetie
P.S. I will post the Cottage Package on my blog.

Gorgeous table! I love how you take things from around the house and from Big Lots finds and put together such a pretty table!

I also love the way those recipes in your prior post look! That is my kind of cooking...easy, just throw it together. I am so not a cook! Like you, I can do it when I have to, but I don't have anything special I do.

Oh, your package arrived yesterday! My kids forgot to tell me about it! lol I loved EVERYTHING! It will all go well in my home. And the package smelled so good! I will post it as soon as I am able!
