No Pink Saturday For Me! But Look At What I've Got Instead!

Remember a while back when I told you all that I had 5 grandsons and that I was finally having a granddaughter and that PINK was finally in order?. Well about a month later after the second Sonar it was announced that we were actually having a boy! Well I had been intending to let you all know but every time I made a post I forgot. Well the due date was set for October but yesterday Hurricane Alex Made Landfall!

Isn't he the cutest, little ball of BLUE you ever did see! He weighs only 3lbs 6oz but just look at our new baby, his eyes are open and he's alert and just as handsome as they come. LOL!!!
The Lord Is Good!!!!!

Look at the little facial expression, he's thinking about something! Probably man oh man! Who are these people? Well all signs are that he's a healthy little ball of joy, and all is needed is a little weight gain, unlike his grandmother, and he'll be homeward bound. Please join us in this Celebration Of Life and welcome Alex #6 into the world. May the Lord bless you my sweet darling. Granny Deb!

Goodnight!

Ooooooooh, how precious, deb chick!!! I want great grandchildren sooooo bad but granddaughter isn't listening to me right now about that. Hmphhhh.....but he is a sweet bundle of blue. I love "pinks" too! Only have 1 pink and 3 blues. I call one of the kids in our ward at church "Miss Pink" and her dad just looks at me because she's mixed race but she always wears PINK or Purple and she is a DOLL!! Her brother Julius like orange so I call him Orange Julius and he just giggles. Her twin likes green so he's Mr. greenjeans! Now they have 2 new twins, Henry and Hudson and are soooooo precious. I got to hold Henry in church the whole hour 2 weeks ago and he was perfect. A child of God for sure.....Ooooh, I love/adore/cherish little kids.....

Honey buns, all precious babies are a gift from God. I can't understand how people can "get rid" of those little bundles. I love them.......all of them. And my son is exactly the same way. Sees a baby and goes gaga over them. He has 2 boys and would love to have a girl but can't talk his wife into another one at this age - almost 50 yrs old so he'll have to make do with those two and they are gorgeous! Alex is a true "gift from God"!! They all are........
Smoochies again,
Connie

Thanks everyone! I'm not feeling any pain about not getting the granddaughter I wanted, my husband has three and my son Keith's wife has a daughter 4 years old and she's a doll. I love them all. So Alex is here and he and his mother Christina are doing fine. Deb

Deb, congratulations :) what a wonderful gift to your family :)

...I think Alex is going to be a handful! he is looking very serious and consideringly (I know that isn't really a word) at the camera...

like he is thinking: "I do not believe I like this thing...I must take steps to get rid of it"...

Congratulations Grandma!! How exciting! He came a little sooner than expected but glad too see he is doing fine. And look at all that hair! He is just so cute. :)

And thank you for leaving a nice comment on my blog. I know it's not easy talking about uncomfortable things...like this election. I keep watching CNN like a bad movie...I can't keep my eyes off of it. :)

oh my gosh!! Can I have him???? He is sooooo cute and precious. What a little darling he is. Congrats to the Granny also, I know your thrilled to have a new little life to love and enjoy. I bet I could make this one a little spoiled and ornery too. He is a doll. Give momma hugs from all of us and ley her know that all of mom's blog land friends are praying for her and her neew little one. I wonder what he will be for Halloween??? May be a tiny little gourd or cute little pumpkin. My mom had 6 grandson also. No pink for us either.
See Ya, Deb
