OKAY I'M ASHAMED, TRULY ASHAMED BUT, "I HAD A BALL DOING IT!" Last week I weighed in at 168.2 and today I weighed in at 170.0, up almost 2 lbs. All week I've been on a non stop holiday binge. I've been eating like 90 going north, ribs, potato salad, ice cream, potato chips, cake, and all the diet food I could find. I couldn't stop myself, I never knew that food could taste so good, where have I been?. Now the sad part of it is that, I'm not done yet. My husband and I have a full weekend planned. We're going on a outing this Saturday with friends, and to the Comedy Club this Sunday evening. Already my plan is to eat something good on both trips. So I will be back on the train starting Monday. Forgive me friends I know you were pulling for me. I kept saying to myself, this is the last day I'm going to eat like this" but, I just kept going and going and going just like the energizer bunny. Next week I may have to double up on some exercising but I will make a come back and a Slam Dunk. (Maybe if I say that, I'll really hate to mess up). LOL! Don't feel ashamed. You are human. This is just a little bump in the road on your journey. There will be setbacks from time to time, but then you'll push on forward! I believe in you.
Don't beat yourself up Deb. We all do this. You'll get right back on the horse and have success. Enjoy this week end. Taste everything, then drink lots of ice tea or water. You'll be right back on track. I'm glad you had fun doing it anyway. Hugs and prayers, Kathi

Hi Deb! I get like that too. After a lots of holiday eating or vacation eating I just keep going. I have a hard time getting back on track. So don't feel bad about it! Plus, your weight can fluctuate by a couple pounds in a day anyway. I bet it'll be back down in no time. Have a great weekend and ENJOY it!

You're so funny! You're fine though because when you mess up..you just start again from there and go for it.
I need to get motivated myself. I need to lose about 12-14 lbs. I was doing fine, then got the flu, then mono which made me lie around more and you know what that does...makes you eat more...and not exercise!

Don't feel bad, Deb! If you only gained 2 pounds, that is not too bad, and an easy fix! I'm still pulling for you! I'm living vicariously through YOU...so get back on this diet and lose enough for the both of us!!! LOL!

Deb, I finally got my blog roll linked back up and I got you listed in my favs. Don't worry about the weight gain. Its summer, you'll work it back off. Besides, I once was ask if i would trade all my knowledge, love, friendships and things I have now, for the body I had in my twenties. No way. So see. We have to expand alittle to hold all that love, knowledge, and all our friendships. We are so full of lpve and life now, that a li'll ole skinny body would never hold it all. I hope this makes you feel better, now lets eat some bananna pudd'in.

I would have to say, every now and again, eat some ribs and live it up. You are so much more than what you weigh.
